How We Meet

Choose the best session experience for you!

Online          Phone Call          In-Person at the Park

How we meet anchor

Online via Zoom

You will receive a Zoom link via email when your appointment is scheduled.  Each session will have it's own unique link.

Tips for a Positive Online Session

Confidentiality

Please make sure you are in an area where no one can hear us, so that we have privacy to speak freely

Good Lighting

Positioning your device where it is not in direct sunlight is best. It can be distracting for both of us otherwise..

Stationary Device

If you have a computer, please use it.  Using a phone or other mobile or tablet can work in a pinch but PLEASE don't move it around while we are talking.  It makes it hard to see you, slows the service, and sometimes covers the microphone.

Download Zoom

Download Zoom ahead of time, or update it if you haven't logged in for a while. It will save you time and frustration when we have our first session.

Phone Call

This option is offered to existing clients, new client intake calls, or if you just need a 5-10 minute check-in.

Tips for a Positive Phone Session

Avoid Distractions

It can be really hard to sit on a phone call for 50-minutes and do nothing else. I encourage you to have a notebook or journal for note-taking or doodling.  Avoid doing daily tasks such as laundry, feeding your child, or even driving if possible.

Bring Notes

Sometimes when we don't have that personal connection or face in front of us, we aren't sure what we need to talk about. Jot down notes in between sessions so that you have a healthy list of things to discuss.

Mix it Up

If you like the phone call option and it works for both of us, great. However, I will miss seeing you & your body language (and of course what you're wearing), let's still schedule a video chat every now and again.

Be Ready on Time

The phone call option is the most informal feeling session.  With that being said, it's easy not to take it seriously or to approach the session a little more relaxed than if it were in person.  That's fine, of course I want you to be relaxed, however, it's still a meeting, please be ready at your appointment time.

Walk in the Park

Serving clients in St. Louis area during mild-temperature seasons.

Tips for a Positive Park Session

Dress Comfortably

Watch the weather and dress accordingly, I will too. If we decide to walk, wear appropriate shoes.  If we want to sit, that's great too. Don't forget your water!

Pick a Park

I will have certain times and days in which I book specific parks.  We will decide what's best for you at the time of scheduling.

Be ok With "Plan B"

If it rains, temps drop, or we just aren't feeling up to it, I ask that you be flexible and understand the nature of what's out of our control.  We will be in communication if we ever need to change our park plans.  It could lead to a phone call or who knows, maybe a coffee shop near by.

Confidentiality Considerations

What if we see someone we know? That's something I like to establish early on with my clients. We are not having traditional therapy, however, you may still want to protect your anonymity in coaching, I totally get that and respect it.  We can say we are friends, no one has to know you are in a super awesome coaching session! :)

Golden Gate Park

Walking in the park is by far my favorite option. I fully believe in the power of  combining nature, body movement & mental work for a full wellness experience. Plus, if you have an Apple Watch, we can close our rings together!
